As we approach the start of our volunteer year, we are excited that the NYJL is participating in the Hampton Classic Horse Show’s inaugural Jump for Charity program, and we are thrilled to have international show Jumper Todd Minikus riding for us! Jump for Charity offers us the opportunity to win $30,000 for our community programs.

“It’s tradition for The Hampton Classic to give back to the community and this year we are really excited to have the opportunity to partner with multiple organizations and to have spectators and exhibitors involved in the cause,” said Shanette Cohen, former NYJL Board Member and the Executive Director of The Hampton Classic Horse Show.

How can you help the NYJL win $30,000 for our community programs? Buy an NYJL Jump for Charity baseball hat! Each hat will come autographed by Todd Minikus and will have the NYJL and the Jump for Charity logo on it. 80% of the price of each hat is tax deductible.

Jump for Charity pairs 10 riders with 10 select charities, and the charity matched with the rider who has the best finish on Friday, September 2 will receive 100% of the proceeds raised from the sale of Jump for Charity baseball hats. If all of the hats sell, a total of $30,000 will be raised, which will be awarded to the winning charity.
