  • September 2023 OFFICIAL PROCLAMATION signed by Mayor Eric L. Adams proclaiming Thursday, September 14, 2023, International Find the Good Day.
  • May 2023 ASSOCIATION OF JUNIOR LEAGUES INTERNATIONAL LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT AWARD to NYJL for the Volunteer and Education Training Program.
  • September 2020 DANCING CLASSROOMS’ SOCIAL & EMOTIONAL LEARNING CHAMPION AWARD to NYJL for its work to advance children’s and young people’s social-emotional learning through arts programming.
  • December 2019 ASSOCIATION OF JUNIOR LEAGUES INTERNATIONAL ACCELERATOR FUND GRANT to help accelerate innovative programs to improve Diversity & Inclusion in the NYJL.
  • December 2019 GUIDESTAR’S SILVER SEAL OF TRANSPARENCY AND THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU’S ACCREDITED CHARITY SEAL, indicating our achievement in improving fundraising expense ratios.
  • June 2018 PennPAC GRANT to evaluate community programs, measure impact, and create a roadmap to replicate across the organization.
  • May 2018 ASSOCIATION OF JUNIOR LEAGUES INTERNATIONAL MARY HARRIMAN COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP AWARD to NYJL Sustaining Member Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney.
  • May 2018 URBAN PATHWAYS WAY HOME HUMANITARIAN SERVICE AWARD for the NYJL’s work in strengthening community and enhancing a space where healing and growth can happen.
  • April 2018 THE CITY GARDENS CLUB OF NEW YORK CITY GRANT for the Playground Improvement Project.
  • October 2017 SINGLE PARENT RESOURCE CENTER VOLUNTEER RECOGNITION AWARD honoring the Building Blocks committee.
  • October 2017 BREAST TREATMENT TASK FORCE OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE AWARD in recognition of the work of our Cancer Awareness & Support committee.
  • May 2017 ASSOCIATION OF JUNIOR LEAGUES INTERNATIONAL GWYNNIE BEE GRANT FOR THE PERSONAL EMPOWERMENT PROJECT (PEP) committee’s work promoting positive body image.
  • October 2016 HEALTH ADVOCATES FOR OLDER PEOPLE NEW YORK COMMUNITY TREASURE AWARD for the work of our CHAMP committee.
  • May 2016 SCAN NEW YORK REACHING NEW HORIZONS COMMUNITY PARTNER AWARD for our partnership with SCAN New York for over 10 years to help at-risk children and their families to achieve positive life goals.
  • April 2016 HARTLEY HOUSE AWARD FOR PHILANTHROPIC EXCELLENCE from our partnership with Hartley House and our Community Improvement Project that awarded them a $50,000 grant and revitalized three rooms used for community programming.
  • April 2016 ASSOCIATION OF JUNIOR LEAGUES INTERNATIONAL RISING STAR AWARD to NYJL volunteer Denora Getachew.
  • October 2015 SINGLE PARENT RESOURCE CENTER COMMUNITY RECOGNITION AWARD for the NYJL’s long-standing commitment to the Single Parent Resource Center.
  • May 2014 STANLEY M. ISAACS SHINING STAR AWARD for the NYJL’s tremendous contributions to the City of New York.
  • May 2014 ASSOCIATION OF JUNIOR LEAGUES INTERNATIONAL KASHI GRANT FOR THE COOKING AND HEALTH EDUCATION FOR FAMILIES (CHEF) committee’s work to improve healthy eating and lifestyles in the New York City community.
  • June 2013 URBAN DOVE’S VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR AWARD for the NYJL’s Community Improvement Project and the organization’s commitment to improving the lives of at-risk youth.
  • May 2013 COVENANT HOUSE’S VOLUNTEER RECOGNITION AWARD for the NYJL and the Rights of Passage committee on their commitment to serving homeless, runaway and at-risk youth.
  • October 2009 NAZARETH HOUSING’S COMMUNITY SERVICE AWARD for the NYJL’s contributions to homeless families and individuals in New York City.
  • November 2007 BOWERY RESIDENTS’ COMMITTEE VOLUNTEER AWARD for providing the most volunteers and completing the most one-day projects for the prior fiscal year.
  • June 2007 NEW YORK FOUNDLING’S VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR AWARD for the NYJL’s commitment to improving the lives of children and families in need.
  • September 2005 CHRISTOPHER REEVE PARALYSIS FOUNDATION GRANT to the NYJL and Friends of Coler-Goldwater committee.
  • May 2005 OFFICIAL PROCLAMATION signed by Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg proclaiming Sunday, May 8, 2005, New York Junior League Mother’s Day Race to Erase Domestic Violence Day.
  • May 2005 ASSOCIATION OF JUNIOR LEAGUES INTERNATIONAL /ANHEUSER-BUSCH $10,000 FUND FOR THE FUTURE AWARD presented for innovative new solutions in addressing NYJL challenges.
