NYJL volunteers are bound by a single goal: to improve the health and well-being of women, children, and families in our city. Comprising over 60 volunteer committees, including a Board of Directors, the NYJL works with nearly 70 community partners on health and education programs, public space improvement projects, city and state-level advocacy, and activities responding to immediate community needs.
