Nicole Hudak, 2025 Outstanding Volunteer
During her 10 years with the New York Junior League, Outstanding Volunteer Nicole Hudak has maintained the same goals no matter her role – mentor existing leaders, operationalize objectives, and set her committee, council, or area up for long-term success.
It’s an approach that led to Committee of the Year awards for the Done in a Day on Demand and Auction committees following her terms as co-chair and for the Volunteer Education & Training committee while she served as Training Council Head. It produced five Women to Watch – an honor Hudak herself won in 2017 – and multiple members who’ve pursued leadership roles as committee co-chairs and on the Management Council. Hudak’s organizational and operational improvements as Training Council Head during the pandemic years of 2020-22 also helped the NYJL win an AJLI Leadership Development Award in 2023.
Hudak currently serves on the Board of Directors as a Director at Large, chairs the Governance Work Group, and serves on the Strategic Planning and Audit Work Groups.
“I’m proud to be the leader called in when a committee or area needs some extra love and attention,” Hudak said. “The NYJL offers our members unparalleled leadership opportunities, and I’m excited to watch these new leaders come into their own with confidence in the service of New York City women, children, and families.”
