Elizabeth Pavone

Liz has been a Junior League member since 2000 and has over a decade of experience at the NYJL. She has also volunteered in the Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, and San Francisco Leagues. During her tenure at the NYJL, she has chaired a number of committees, including Done in a Day On Demand, Community Improvement Project, and Transfers. She served two terms on the Management Council, as both the City Impact Council Head and as the Membership Area Senior Council Head. Liz has also served on the Nominating committee two times. Currently, Liz is serving two back-to-back terms on the Board of Directors. In 2024, she completed her term as Secretary of the Board and she is now serving a three year term as a Director at Large. Liz was honored as an NYJL Outstanding Volunteer in 2018.
Professionally, Liz has over 20 years experience working in professional services firms. Currently, she works at King & Spalding LLP where she oversees Lawyer Talent Development for the transactional attorneys. She has a BS in Environmental Engineering from the University of Dayton and an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business. Liz lives on the Upper East Side with her husband, John, and her sons, Leo (7) and Luke (5).
