Michelle LeNoach, 2025 Outstanding Volunteer
Outstanding Volunteer Michelle LeNoach joined the New York Junior League to be part of a community of women looking to make a difference. During her 10 years in the League, she’s become an expert community builder herself.
Through the Membership Work Group, she helped create a mentorship program pilot that matched new members with leaders. Within the Affiliation Council, LeNoach oversaw the launch and evolution of the Greeting and Outreach committee and the formation of three new affinity groups through the Membership Engagement Events committee. As part of the Volunteer Education Training committee, LeNoach helped produce trainings for more than 2,000 members, mentored committee members, and facilitated community within the committee.
LeNoach said her time on the Affiliation Council, where she currently serves as Council Head, has been her most impactful NYJL experience.
“It gave me the opportunity to plan meaningful events, build community through the affinity groups (especially Women of Color, LGBTQIA+& Allies, and the Mothers Group) and mentor amazing upcoming leaders,” LeNoach said. “The NYJL has helped me grow in so many ways and offered a place where I can continue to build my skill set and have the opportunity to lead.”
