This year is especially meaningful as the NYJL celebrates its 125th anniversary, marking 125 years of service, leadership, and impact in New York City. Founded in 1901, our organization is dedicated to empowering women leaders and strengthening communities across NYC.

Every ticket purchased transforms lives across New York City. Proceeds directly support the NYJL’s work with over 60 community partners, including City Harvest, the Armory Foundation, and the NYS Mentoring Program. Your participation also empowers our 2,800+ trained volunteers to deliver meaningful, lasting change in communities throughout the city.

For more than five decades, Gloria Steinem’s Upper East Side apartment has been a living center of activism, creativity, and community;  a true hub of the women’s movement, where ideas took root and Talking Circles inspired the founding of Ms. magazine, the National Women’s Political Caucus, and more.

Now 92, Gloria is opening that door. The New York Junior League is honored to partner with Gloria’s Foundation to offer twelve seats for a private Talking Circle in her living room –  an intimate conversation on intergenerational women’s leadership, art and architecture, and the meaning of legacy itself. Join the discussion on Friday, October 9, from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
