Join us on Saturday, April 25, 2026, as the New York Junior League celebrates 125 years of impact, leadership, and service at its signature fundraising event, Savor the Spring: A Night Through the Decades.

Step into an immersive, multi-room experience as The Astor House transforms into a journey through time –each space honoring a distinct era of NYJL & New York City history, from its Gilded Age beginnings to a bold, future-forward vision of the next 125 years. Guests will enjoy curated wine, cocktail, and culinary tastings thoughtfully designed to complement each decade, bringing history, culture, and community to life.

Savor the Spring’s silent and live auctions will feature once-in-a-lifetime experiences and luxury offerings, including exclusive travel packages, exceptional dining experiences, premium beauty and wellness services, and more. Proceeds from the evening directly support the New York Junior League’s mission-driven community programs across New York City.

$300 • VIP • SOLD OUT

VIP guests are invited to begin their evening at 6:00 PM with an elevated experience, featuring live music, champagne and hors d’oeuvres, early access to select experiences, and an exclusive luxury gift bag.

$175 • General Admission • SOLD OUT

General Admission begins at 7:00 PM, allowing guests to explore each decade-inspired room, enjoy tastings and entertainment, and participate in the auctions throughout the evening.

Dress code is cocktail attire. This event is 21+ so you must be 21 and older to attend.

Rasheem, 31, is a Brooklyn-born private chef and entrepreneur, raised in Coney Island. His passion for food began shortly after high school, when he stepped into the culinary world and quickly worked his way up through several restaurant kitchens, sharpening his skills and developing his signature bold, flavor-driven style.

In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, Rasheem took a leap of faith and founded his business, Food With Flavor. What started as a personal vision has grown into a thriving brand, offering private dining experiences, catering, and meal prep services across New York and beyond. Known for his ability to blend comfort food with elevated, restaurant-quality presentation, Rasheem has built a strong reputation and loyal clientele, including high-end and celebrity clients.

Despite his growing success, Rasheem remains deeply connected to his roots. He continues to give back to his Brooklyn community, using food as a way to bring people together and create meaningful experiences. His journey reflects resilience, creativity, and a commitment to excellence—qualities that define both his cuisine and his story.
