Golden Tree is a premiere holiday shopping event hosted by the New York Junior League (“NYJL”) that features a variety of brands and vendors in categories including apparel, accessories, food and gifts for the home.

These curated brands offer attendees the perfect opportunity to address all of your festive shopping needs. We will be hosting an in-person shopping experience, a silent auction, and a series of events to get you prepped and in the holiday spirit!

Golden Tree generates vital monetary contributions supporting the community work performed by the NYJL. Powered by more than 2,600 women volunteers, the NYJL works with more than 60 community-based organizations to advance children’s social-emotional learning and to provide life skills programs to youth and adults who are navigating periods of difficult transition. In addition to ticket sales and proceeds from the silent auction, retail vendors at Golden Tree donate 20% of all sales back to the League. The success of Golden Tree and other fundraising events, along with generous donations from individuals and businesses, helps the NYJL achieve the mission to improve the lives of women, children, and families in New York City.

Our event is open to everyone – including members and friends of the NYJL.

VIP Party Tickets

Thursday, November 20

• PURCHASE • Opening Night Party • $250 General Admission – Access to our very first Thursday night Golden Tree soirée (7:00 – 11:00 p.m.) with open bar, passed hors d’oeuvres & dessert bar – catered by Kings’ Carriage House, LIVE auction and entertainment. Don’t miss your chance to bid on Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade Tickets – a priceless, one-in-a-lifetime experience – only available in the live auction! Tickets also include a VIP Golden Pass (access to all shopping sessions, including Ladies’ Day Out on Saturday), as well as a gift bag for the first 75 ticket purchasers. Cocktail attire encouraged.

Friday, November 21

• PURCHASE • Golden Day • $45 General Admission – Access to Friday day shopping (11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.) 
• PURCHASE • Golden Night • $75 General Admission – Access to Friday night shopping (6:00 – 10:00 p.m.) with open bar & bites. 

Saturday, November 22

• PURCHASE • Ladies Day Out • $75 General Admission – Access to Saturday extended shopping (12:00 – 8:00 p.m.) with open bar, bites & complimentary spa services (Ladies’ Day Out). 

Event Tickets

Tickets available at the door, if space allows. Online ticket sales close one day prior to the dates indicated below and include access to shopping for the corresponding session.

• PURCHASE • Holiday Wreath Making Class • $80 – Join floral designer Betsy Vitton for a holiday faux wreath making class on Friday, November, 21 at 2:00 pm. This includes expert instruction on crafting a handmade faux wreath and access to the Friday day shopping session.

• PURCHASE • Black River Caviar Tasting & Cocktail Pairings • $135 – Join Linda Garnett of Black River Caviar and and a representative from Via Carota Craft Cocktails for a private, curated tasting on Friday, November 21, from 7:00-8:30pm. The tasting will include caviar samplings graciously donated from Black River Caviar, the first southern hemisphere Oscietra caviar farm, along with handpicked wine pairings. Access to the Friday evening shopping session is included.

• PURCHASE • Needlepoint Workshop • $145 – Join Olivia Pivirotto of Needle Me This for a custom needlepoint workshop on Saturday, November 22, at 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. This includes an event-exclusive needlepoint canvas and hands-on instruction for all skill levels. The event also includes access to only the Saturday shopping session.

• PURCHASE • Pomander Topiary Arrangement Tutorial • $100 – Join Gabrielle O’Reilly Hoffman of All Set by Gabrielle on Saturday, November 22, from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. to create a one-of-a-kind pomander topiary just in time to decorate your table for the holiday season! Gabrielle will also offer attendees decorating tips and how to use their newly learned skills at home. This event ticket includes access to the Saturday shopping session.

Our Golden Tree Auction features a spectacular selection of designer items, exciting experiences and luxury accessories. All proceeds from the Silent Auction will directly benefit the charitable endeavors of the NYJL.
