Community Service

Our Community Partners support us! For 106 years, the New York Junior League has been a positive force for change in New York City. The NYJL's 3,000 trained volunteers collectively donate more than 250,000 hours of community service in New York City each year. The NYJL's 30 community service programs address some of New York City's most critical issues: domestic violence awareness and prevention, health education to the at-risk community, life skills for families in transition, and cultural enrichment for school children.

Fundraising Events

New York Junior League volunteers plan and execute numerous entertaining and social fundraising events throughout the year. Additionally, volunteers actively seek sponsors for our two signature projects Mother's Day Race to Erase Domestic Violence and Playground Improvement Project. We greatly appreciate your attendance to our events and the generous support from businesses globally. The proceeds benefit the charitable activities of the New York Junior League, addressing some of New York City's most critical issues.
