Golden Tree: Three Days to Shop for a Cause - New York Junior League

The 43rd Annual Golden Tree fundraising event is not only a golden shopping opportunity that supports the charitable projects of the New York Junior League, but is also an opportunity to revive, restore, and best of all, have fun!

Today, tomorrow, and Saturday, come out for three days of premier shopping, distinctive food and drink, and festive entertainment, including Breakfast with Santa, the Festival of Wreaths, and silent auction. Events at Golden Tree include:

Thursday, December 4

  • 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Holiday Luncheon in the Roosevelt Room.
    For reservations, inquire at the front desk.

  • 2:30 – 3:30 p.m. Dempsey & Carroll present “The Art of Personal Correspondence.”
    Make your holiday cards truly remarkable. Dempsey & Carroll will share tips for creating meaningful and memorable holiday correspondence.
  • 3:30 – 5:00 p.m. Afternoon Tea in the Roosevelt Room.
    No reservations required.
  • 6:00 – 10:00 p.m. Silver Bell Soiree.
    Join us as we celebrate and honor the NYJL’s dedicated volunteers with milestone membership years as well as past Golden Tree Co-Chairs with a Tinsel Toast led by NYJL President Stacey Lawrence Lee. The evening includes a holiday music performance, snacks, and sips.

Friday, December 5

  • 6:00 – 10:00 p.m. Holly Jolly Young Professionals Night.
    Join us as we turn up the holiday cheer for the Holly Jolly Young Professional’s Night featuring holiday karaoke, lite bites from 83 ½ restaurant, and chocolates from Air Berlin. Come to shop, and stay to enjoy an evening of fun!

Saturday, December 6

  • 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Breakfast with Santa.
    Your little elves are invited to a festive breakfast from Bistango with a bloody mary bar from Bondurants for parents and a photo session with Santa. The Junior Junior League leads holiday-themed activities throughout the morning.
  • 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Ladies’ Day Out.
    Revive and restore with daytime activities to complement your holiday shopping. Indulge in mini spa therapies from exhale, IOMA, and more while enjoying lite bites and bubbly with friends.

The Festival of Wreaths takes place through Friday night, December 5 during Golden Tree. Traditional and inviting wreaths deck the halls of the Astor House featuring radiant and fragrant designer wreaths that will brighten any home, as well as heartfelt and cheerful wreaths decorated by NYJL Community Spotlight committees. All wreaths are available for purchase through the Golden Tree silent auction and proceeds benefit the community projects of the New York Junior League.

Golden Pass ticket holders gain access to all shopping sessions and events as well as  a VIP gift bag featuring goodies from Manhattan Magazine, Ralph Lauren, Estée Lauder, Bleulili Home, and more.
