Throwback Thursday: Costume Inspiration with the NYJL

Still picking out your Halloween look? Find some inspiration with our Throwback Thursday favorites. Volunteers of the New York Junior League have long donned costumes for both formal and informal occasions. From Mardi Gras Balls in the 1960s to an 80s themed Homecoming in 2008, we hope these pictures from our archive will help spark your imagination.

During the Mardi Gras Balls in the 1960s, models dressed up based on sponsored thematic looks.

A 1980s themed homecoming party in 2008 featured bright neon colors and lots of metallic.
