NYJL Announces 2016-2018 President and Board Secretary

Plase join us as we congratulate the newly slated NYJL President and Secretary of the Board of Directors for 2016-2018, Suzanne Manning and Cynthia Vitari Song! These appointments were announced by Nominating Chair Mari Quilio during the January 27 General Membership Meeting and in an eblast to the full NYJL membership the following day. Both women will be approved at the Annual Meeting on Thursday, June 9 and will take office beginning on Friday, July 1. We wish them both the best of luck in their new roles!

Suzanne Manning – NYJL President

    Suzanne has been recognized as a 2011 Outstanding Volunteer and 2008 Woman to Watch. She has co-chaired the Provisional Training and Transfers committees, as well as the FUNdraisers Spring Auction. She served as the Executive Vice President on the Board of Directors from 2013-2015. Prior to her role as EVP, she was the Volunteer Development Council Head on the Management Council. Currently, she is a member of the Food & Beverage, 115th Anniversary, and Financial Literacy committees. Prior to joining the NYJL in 2001, she was a volunteer with the Seattle Junior League.

 

Cynthia Vitari Song – Secretary of the Board

    Cynthia is currently a Director at Large on the NYJL Board of Directors and the Chair of the Human Resources committee in addition to sitting on the Development and Investment committees. Since joining the NYJL in 2002, she has chaired the College Coaches, Empowerment for Personal Strength, and Human Resources committees. She has also been on the Nominating and Provisional Training committees. She was a  2015 Outstanding Volunteer and a 2005 Woman to Watch.
