Are you interested in serving on a nonprofit board? Do you understand the responsibilities of a nonprofit board member? Looking to ensure your volunteer efforts are making an impact?

As nonprofit systems have become more sophisticated and face increasing challenges, board leadership must ensure they understand their fiduciary responsibilities. The NYJL is excited to continue our 25 year tradition of providing high-level training to board volunteers through the Nonprofit Boards Clearinghouse program.

Kicking off in October, the NYJL is offering an accelerated version the program, which is appropriate for those interested in serving on a nonprofit board and seeking to understand the roles and responsibilities of nonprofit board volunteers. The program also offers the opportunity to learn about a number of dynamic New York City nonprofits seeking board leaders.
