Meet Team NYJL!
On Sunday, November 6, a group of 12 NYJL volunteers and friends will run the TCS New York City Marathon in support of the New York Junior League! These men and women have committed to training for the 26.2-mile journey while raising funds to support the NYJL. Team NYJL has a collective fundraising goal of $59,000 – all of which will support the charitable activities of the NYJL. During the next few weeks, we will be showcasing these incredible women and sharing a little bit more about each of them.
After two “almosts” of running the NYC marathon (Hurricane Sandy and a broken ankle), Tinsley is excited to make 2016 the year she completes her first marathon. She enjoys running as it reminds her that you are capable of anything you put your mind to. The NYJL has given her countless opportunities including meeting amazing people and to serve in the community. She is a third generation Junior Leaguer and is honored to run with Team NYJL!

Running in her first marathon, Kyra joined Team NYJL to give back to the NYJL after it has given her the opportunity to meet new friends and to structure her volunteer work.
