Forum for Nonprofits Panel: Minding Your Metrics to Optimize Influence

The New York Junior League Forum for Nonprofits is excited to announce the panelists for our afternoon session, “Minding Your Metrics to Optimize Influence.”

The panelists’ experience shaping policy with metrics and leading transformational projects for their organizations will inform our moderated discussion.   Panelists will address topics such as how to adapt evidence-based practices and highlight metrics in your message to effectively communicate and influence organizational, community, and systemic change. This panel will also focus on how new technologies and innovation are constantly disrupting the environment in which nonprofits operate and what drives people to action.

Panelists for our afternoon session include:

  • Charlotte Coker Gibson, Executive Director, PwC Charitable Foundation: Charlotte has developed successful employee engagement strategies, national non-profit partnerships, and volunteer initiatives like the Earn Your Future program were effective by communicating metrics to stakeholders.
  • Bill Loftus, Head of the Advisory Counsel for Save the Children’s Board of Directors: Bill draws on his significant expertise in utilizing metrics to drive results in his professional role as Founding Partner at LLBH Private Wealth Management LLC, which serves he has applied to his work with Save the Children.
  • Vijaya Thakur, Founder and Executive Director of Resolve Network: Vijaya heads a global effort that offers an online suite of open-source data, tools, and curated research to help researchers, practitioners and policy makers gain fresh insight into the drivers of violent extremism.
  • Triada Stampas, Vice President for Research & Public Affairs, Food Bank for NYC: Triada leads efforts in research and evaluation, government relations, policy/advocacy and community mobilization including advocating for new Federal, State and City funding for anti-hunger initiatives.
