Former Junior League of St. Louis President to moderate Forum for Nonprofits

The New York Junior League Forum for Nonprofits is excited to welcome the immediate past president of the Junior League of St. Louis, Allie Chang Ray, as the moderator for this year’s event on April 26.

Allie Chang Ray has nearly 25 years of experience in public service and the nonprofit sector. Having served as a nonprofit executive director and development director for a child welfare organization that utilizes volunteers as their front-line workers, Allie is experienced with governance and leadership issues, as well as volunteer and donor engagement practices.

In 2014, Allie joined the staff of Deaconess Foundation as Vice President of Programs. In that role, she oversaw the Deaconess Impact Partnership, a four-year organizational capacity building program for child-serving agencies that centered around their growth and sustainability for impact.

Allie has recently returned to her consultancy practice that serves the philanthropic and nonprofit agency sectors. In January, she received the Emerging Leader in Philanthropy Award from Gateway Center for Giving and was appointed as a Commissioner by Missouri Governor Nixon to the Child Abuse & Neglect Review Board. She also serves as an adjunct faculty member at Washington University in St. Louis’ Brown School of Social Work.

The New York Junior League is excited to share the event with the Junior League of St. Louis by connecting virtually via Lumi, which has generously made it possible to securely share content real time with interactive question and answer capability.
