The 36th Annual Golden Tree is just around the corner!
The New York Junior League’s Headquarters for Leadership and Training will open its doors to volunteers and guests from Wednesday, November 28 through Saturday, December 1 for the annual shopping event. Golden Tree is one of the year’s largest fundraisers and the theme, “A Golden Opportunity to Give,” echoes both the spirit of the holiday season and the New York Junior League’s enduring spirit of giving. The four-day event will feature exceptional vendors and tantalizing hors d’oeuvres and cocktails, providing attendees the ultimate shopping experience. With options for all budgets and many opportunities to win amazing prizes and silent auction items, Golden Tree is an easy and fun way to prepare for the holidays with friends and family, all while benefiting the New York Junior League’s 30 community programs. One of the prizes to win this year is the Grand Raffle Prize—an all-inclusive Club Med 7-night vacation at one of their many North American resort locations*. The package includes 3 meals a day, wine and beer throughout lunch and dinner, all day snacking and open bar, nightly entertainment, and unlimited sports activities! Another highlight is on Wednesday evening, when the spotlight turns to the extraordinary work of the NYJL in the community and to the Nominating committee, which will announce both the 2007–2008 Outstanding Volunteers and Outstanding Sustainers. This tradition is sure to draw a large crowd of Junior League volunteers and their guests to celebrate and honor these wonderful women.
